TAKE CARE OF YOUR GARMENTS

Alpaca fiber becomes more beautiful over time if properly cared for. This is why we give you here our tips!

Hand-wash. The best way to care for your garment in baby alpaca fiber is to wash it by hand in cold water with a mild shampoo, without using fabric softener, which would unnecessarily soften the fiber and could be harmful to both health and the environment. Gently massage your garment and rinse with plenty of cold water. Wring it out without wringing it out by rolling it in a terry towel to absorb excess water, then lay it flat on another dry towel.

Check the water temperature. Temperature variations cause all fibers to felt; water should be cold or at a maximum temperature of 10°, but above all it should be at a constant temperature, and you should wash and rinse at the same temperature. When you are washing by hand, leave the tap running for the duration of the wash and rinse.
