JUNE 2025

Munay had the honor of being invited by Warmi, an association that supports and empowers Latin American and Spanish-speaking communities in Switzerland, to speak at their event: “How to Start a Business in Geneva?”
The evening brought together over 120 participants, aspiring entrepreneurs, creatives, and professionals, all eager to learn, share and take steps toward building something of their own.
As the founder of Munay, I shared my journey of launching a brand rooted in Peruvian heritage, built here in Switzerland, and born from a desire to bridge cultures through baby alpaca craftsmanship and ethical fashion.
I spoke from the heart: about perseverance, starting small, and the importance of asking for help which are the lessons I’ve learned along the way. My message was simple and straight forward:
“Start small, but start. And don’t be afraid to ask for help.”
The event also featured impactful presentations from SINGA and Alter Start, two Geneva-based organizations offering training and support to migrants with entrepreneurial ambitions. Their work, along with the moving testimonies of program participants, reminded us that entrepreneurship can be a path toward dignity, self-expression and empowerment.
It was a truly meaningful evening, filled with stories, energy and hope.
